NVR Web Access Quick Guide (firmware v3.x)
Step 1 : Acquire the IP address and HTTP port of the NVR
In order to access the recorder through web browser, there are two pieces of information required; IP address of the NVR and HTTP port.
If the NVR is connected to a monitor for display; please go under Menu > Configuration > Network
As for HTTP port, please go under Menu > Configuration > Network > More settings
If the NVR is not connected to a monitor, network discovery software would be required to retrieve the information. This software can be found on our website (eyesonic.com) under Support > Downloads > IP Search Tool(SADP) .
Run the software once it has been installed and any Eyesonic device on the network will show up in the list.
Step 2 : Web Browser and Plugins installs
Once the IP information is retrieved, open Internet Explore or Safari browser and type in the IP address of the NVR followed by a “: “ and HTTP port number in the URL.
Once the login page comes up, it will prompt user to install “Web Component”. Close the browser and select yes to start the installation. Restart the browser and enter the username and password to login.
Step 3 : Live View and Playback
The first page after the login is live view page. Simply click on the “play” tab below to start all live view
As for playback, select the camera on the left side panel first. Then select the date on the calendar on the right and hit “search”. The time bar underneath the window should be filled with color (blue or pink) then hit “play” to run the playback video.
