Guide to using your recorder on a PC


Accessing the login page
 Open Internet Explorer On Windows 10, you can access internet explorer by going to Start-> Programs- > Windows

Accessories -> Internet explorer
 Type in the IP address of the recorder, or the DDNS name followed by the HTTP port
 Example: http://192.168.0.100:9090 or http://test.ddnstest.com:9090



Download the plug-in
 Once you are on the login page of the recorder you will see a prompt to download a plugin
 Download the plugin and install it
 Close and then re-open the web browser.
 Navigate back to the login page
 You will then see a prompt at the bottom of the page to allow the plugin to run

 Click allow
 Log into the recorder using your username and password



Using Live View
On the live view page you have a few options
 Start/Stop all video (Label 1)
 Main or sub stream (Label 2). Mainstream is the highest quality, but much slower to view. Recommend Substream
 Set all to Sub stream or Main stream (Label 5)
 Zoom (Label 3) Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out
 Number of Cameras (Label 4)



Using Playback
Click the playback tab
1. Click on the camera you wish to view
2. Click on the date you wish to see the footage from
3. Click search
4. Click play
5. You can repeat this for multiple cameras, or click on single camera view **It is suggested if you are connecting remotely, that you view one camera at a time**



Exporting Video
Under playback click on the download button



A new window will appear
1. Choose your camera
2. Choose the time you wish to start the video file you are downloading
3. Choose the time after your video should finish. It is suggested to add a minute or two after the incident.
4. Hit search
5. Select the files that match your video, there may be many if you are recording in motion detection.
6. Click download
